BREAKING: 2nd Nursing Home COVID Case DISMISSED

Earlier today, U.S. District Court Judge Katherine Polk Failla granted a motion to dismiss the FerrarI v. Cuomo et. al. suit filed by family members who allege to have lost relatives in nursing homes to COVID-19. The following statement is from Cuomo spokesman Rich Azzopardi.

“As we pass the fifth anniversary of COVID, the pain of those who have lost loved ones continues to be weaponized for political purposes and electoral gain at the highest levels, as the Department of Justice Inspector General recently found.

“However, anytime this issue gets taken out of the press or the political arena and into the courts, the truth wins.

“More than a million Americans were lost because of COVID and we continue to mourn with the families of every single one. The federal judge today ruled to dismiss this case — the second civil claim to be flatly rejected.  This follows the DOJ - which launched three separate probes - and the Manhattan district attorney who each previously investigated the nursing home issue, but did not move forward as the result of no evidence of wrongdoing.  Once again, justice has prevailed.”
