Governor Cuomo Meets with Voters at Brooklyn’s Famed Junior’s Restaurant After Receiving Endorsement of Brooklyn Democratic Party Chairwoman Rodneyse Bichotte Hermelyn

Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, candidate for Mayor of New York City, today met with voters and key Democratic elected officials and party leaders at famed Junior’s restaurant in Historic Downtown Brooklyn after receiving the endorsement of Assembly Member and Brooklyn Democratic Party Chair Rodneyse Bichotte Hermelyn.

Governor Cuomo greeted scores of Brooklyn residents to discuss public safety, quality of life and affordability issues confronting them and their families, and how he plans to address these critically important issues as Mayor.

“The Democratic Party is the party of working men and women, and Brooklyn has more Democrats than any county in America, which is why it is especially humbling to receive the endorsement of Brooklyn County Chairwoman Rodneyse Bichotte Hermelyn today.  Together, we lock arms as we begin the process of rebuilding our city to make it safer and more affordable for all New York families,” said Governor Cuomo. “Our city is at an inflection point and I am running for Mayor because I know what needs to be done and I know how to do it because I’ve done it before. Experience matters, competence matters, and we’re going to address the concerns of the people of this great city so that their government responds and performs in a manner that people deserve.”

In addition, the Governor dined with Chairwoman Bichotte Hermelyn and other Brooklyn elected officials and party leaders that endorsed him for mayor, including Assembly Member Latrice Walker, Assembly Member Erik Dilan, Assembly Member William Colton, Assembly Member Susan Zhuang, Council Member Farah Louis, Council Member Darlene Mealy, former Brooklyn Democratic Party Chairman Frank Seddio, Brooklyn Democratic Party Vice Chair and District Leader Henry Butler, District Leader Anthony Jones, District Leader Arleny Alvarado-McCalla, District Leader Heriberto Mateo, District Leader Nancy Tong, District Leader Larry He, District Leader Joyce Xiaoqiong Xie, District Leader Tony Ying Ko, District Leader Joey Saban, District Leader Viktoriya Mushailova, and District Leader Michael Boomer, who also endorsed today.
