Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, candidate for Mayor of New York City, today made his first campaign stop meeting with concerned residents at the Caridad restaurant in the Kingsbridge section of the Bronx and received the endorsement of Assembly Member Yudelka Tapia.
Assembly Member Tapia endorsed Cuomo as a champion of the Bronx with a long record of achievement that benefitted working New Yorkers.
“All too often the needs of my constituents are ignored. That wasn’t the case when Andrew Cuomo was Governor,” Assemblymember Yudelka Tapia said. “He passed historic legislation to raise the minimum wage, protect tenants, and keep our streets safe. The Bronx needs a mayor who fights for them – and only them. That candidate is Andrew Cuomo and I strongly endorse his campaign to be our next mayor.”
